Although many people start complaining about winter in November, I believe a naturalist finds the beauty of nature in any month. As the frenzy of summer and the blaze of October fade away, November greets us with colorful splashes of earth tones and magic light that is neither too early or too late in the day. It is a time to find and celebrate the quiet, intimate beauty that surrounds us wherever we are.
I’ve been concentrating on November for almost 20 years now, so be sure to enjoy all of the sub-galleries here. I add more as I go out each year and as I find gems from previous years in my collection.
